To measure these responses we used Sahabot 2 as a measuring instrument, by recording the outputs of the POL-OP units while the robot made a 360° turn. Bottom: Difference between the body orientations indicated by the mathemathical algorithm ("formula", see Fig. 8) and by the neural network.
