Kasia was born in Nowy Sacz, Poland. She did her BSc and MSc with a focus on Neurobiology at the Jagiellonian University in Krakow, Poland. During her MSc she worked on the circadian regulation of synaptic proteins in the mouse hippocampus. She joined the Müller lab in 2017 as a PhD student, and her current work focuses on the mouse cerebellum and aims to understand how stable synaptic transmission is achieved upon genetic or pharmacological perturbations. To achieve this she mostly applies electrophysiological approaches. In her free time she enjoys singing and she is also a member of a choir.
