Florian did his bachelor in biology in University of Geneva, Switzerland, which he finished with a bachelor thesis on centriole assembly. In 2021, he moved to ETH Zürich to conduct his master in systems biology. During his studies, he focused on computational biology, biochemistry and statistics applied to biology. After two previous master projects, respectively in computational evolution and microtubules biology, he joined the Pelkmans lab in January 2023 for its master thesis consisting of finding a model able to predict cellular fates in Zebrafish embryo based on multiplexed IF microscopy images.
